Marc Marquez Will Retire, The Conditions: There Must Be Something Faster Than Him

JAKARTA - Ducati racer, Marc Marquez, did not deny that he would retire early from MotoGP. However, there is one condition, namely that there must be a racer who is faster than him.

This was revealed by Livio Suppo, one of the MotoGP world figures who had worked with Marquez at Repsol Honda. Suppo said, Marquez will retire once there is a racer who he considers faster.

"When he realizes there is someone stronger than him, he will quit. Marquez feels uncomfortable if he doesn't win," Suppo said as quoted by Motosan, Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

This season Marquez will win MotoGP. Although there are still six more series of races, The Baby Alien's points are barely being overtaken anymore. He only needs an additional three points.

If Marquez wins the title in the 2025 Japanese MotoGP series this weekend then he has won nine world titles - six of them in MotoGP.

This season, Marquez's dominance is unmatched because he is not only ahead in the main race, but also in the Sprint Race session. Marquez's impressive performance is called Suppo because other riders are not at the same level.

"The last four years, with all due respect to other riders, have no luck. Maybe everyone is surprised to see a rider that strong," he said.

However, Marquez's statement for early retirement will likely not materialize in the near future. You see, so far there is no young racer whose quality is above Marquez.
