Ahead Of The 2025 Indonesian MotoGP, The Mandalika Circuit Electronic System Continues To Be Finalized

JAKARTA - The 2025 Indonesian MotoGP will take place at the Mandalika Circuit on October 3-5, 2025. Ahead of the agenda, preparations continue to be made, including testing electronic systems and supporting infrastructure by holding the Mandalika Racing Series (MRS).

The checking agenda, which consists of race and non-race, took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 and was deliberately held to see readiness ahead of the main agenda.

"We use this MRS to prepare for MotoGP. Today we are doing a race and non-race to test or all electronic devices are turned on to see whether they function properly or not," said Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) President Director, Priandi Satria, quoted from Antara, 23 September 2025.

Priandi Satria also said that if in this preparation there was damage to electronic systems and other digital devices, repairs would be made in the next two weeks before the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP was held.

"There is still time to make better preparations," he said.

He said other supporting infrastructure preparations were also in process and were just waiting for the arrival of the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP logistics.

After the MRS agenda is held, there will also be track painting and checking of other devices, such as digital cables on the track or in the race control.

"This event is also part of the preparation of the marshal ahead of the Indonesian MotoGP," he said.

Previously, he said that if Marc Marquez really confirmed the world title in Mandalika, then that event would be a historic moment, not only for the champion, but also for Indonesia.

"Mandalika will be recorded in MotoGP history as the Southeast Asian circuit which witnessed the determination of world champions," he said.
