JAKARTA The Polytron Superliga Junior 2025 badminton tournament provided a prize of IDR 1.4 billion. This event was attended by 654 young badminton players from eight countries.

The eight countries participating in the tournament initiated by the Djarum Foundation and Polytron Sports Service are Indonesia, Poland, the United States, Malaysia, Singapore, China Taipei, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Polytron Tekno Commercial Director, Wibowo, hopes that Polytron Superliga Junior 2025 can measure and improve the athletes' abilities above the arena so that in the future they can make proud achievements for Indonesia.

"We hope that young Indonesian athletes can exchange valuable experiences and innovate more broadly both in terms of technique and capability," said Wibowo.

Superliga Junior Polytron in previous years took place at GOR Djarum Magelang. However, this year's edition moved to GOR Djarum Jati, Kudus, Central Java, due to historical considerations.

The Djarum Foundation Sports Service Director's Program, Yoppy Rosimin, said that Kudus is a city that has produced many Indonesian badminton heroes.

"We hope that athletes who come from outside Kudus can also taste the diversity of rooted traditions in this city, hopefully they will bring memorable memories when they return to their respective cities," said Yoppy.

Participants of the 2025 Superliga Junior were attended by age groups U-13, U-15, U-17, and U-19 both women and men. In the men's U-13 sector will fight for the Tontowi Ahmad Cup and Liliyana Natsir's trophy for the women's U-13.

Furthermore, in the men's U-15 sector will compete for the Sigit Budiarto Cup. The first podium in the women's U-15 sector will bring home the Maria Kristin Yulianti Cup.

Then, in the men's U-17 sector, they will compete for the Hariyanto Arbi Cup and Kartika Yuni trophy for the women's U-17. Meanwhile, the Liem Swie King Cup for the men's U-19 champion and Susi Susanti Cup in the women's U-19 category.

Superliga Director, Achmad Budiharto, said that the implementation of the Polytron Superliga Junior 2025 will be more competitive with the presence of participants from countries who have never participated in this championship in previous years such as the Philippines, Poland, and the United States.

"The presence of new countries in this tournament will give birth to a more fierce and competitive map of competition," said Budiharto.

Big teams from various countries will join the U-17 and U-19 sectors, both men and women. In the men's U-17 category, there are Chengyuan High School (China Taipei), Poland Team, Singapore Team, and various big Indonesian clubs, such as PB Djarum, PB Victory, Gideon Badminton Academy, PB Mutiara Cardinal, PB Jaya Raya, PB Power Rajawali, PB Exist, and PB Taqi Arena will compete for the title.

Next in the women's U-17 sector, there is the New Taipei High School (China Taipei), Poland Team, Granular (Thailand), Singapore Team, Philippines Team which will be challenged by PB Djarum, Gideon Badminton Academy, PB Jaya Raya, PB Power Rajawali, and PB Taqi Arena.

Then in the men's U-19 sector there are PB Djarum, PB Mutiara Cardinal, PB Victory, PB Jaya Raya, PB Power Rajawali who will clash with Chengyuan High School (China Taipei), Poland Team, Malaysia Team, and Banthongyord (Thailand).

Finally, in the women's U-19 category, there are Global Badminton Academy (United States), Malaysia Team, Philippines Team, Poland Team, Banthongyord (Thailand) who will meet PB Djarum, PB Mutiara Cardinal, and PB Power Rajawali.
