Arema FC coach Marcos Santos stated that he immediately evaluated the performance of the players after his team was beaten 1-2 by Dewa United Banten FC, in a Super League match held at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, East Java, Saturday.

Marcos in a press conference session at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, stated that the move was also to prepare for the match against Persib Bandung, on Monday (22/9).

"We will make improvements, directly. Because next we will face a big match against Persib," said Marcos.

He did not deny that in this match Arema FC did not perform well, even had to concede in the 12th minute by Dewa United striker Alex Martins.

In addition, the midfield which is one of Arema FC's strengths is also unable to supply mature balls to the attacking line.

Meanwhile, Arema FC player Fikri Arjidan said that despite losing all players and the coaching team, they had tried their best to get positive results against Dewa United.
