Dito Ariotedjo Doesn't Know The Reason For Being Reshuffled

Dito Ariotedjo does not yet know the reason he was removed from the position of Minister of Youth and Sports (VOI/Cosmas Kopong Beda).

JAKARTA Dito Ariotedjo did not know why President Prabowo Subianto kicked himself out of the position of Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Dito was one of five ministers who was reshuffled in the Red and White Cabinet on Monday, September 8, 2025. He got out of the chair after serving for less than a year with the government of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"I don't know. That's the prerogative of the President. We as soldiers everywhere are ready to be assigned," said Dito when asked about the possibility of a mistake he made which made him also hit by a mob.

Information related to the reshuffle has been known to Dito since Monday morning. However, he still had time to review the preparations for the commemoration of National Sports Day (Haornas) at Cibubur Youth Elite Sport Center.

Currently, Dito's replacement in the Menpora seat has not been announced because the candidate is still out of town. According to several sources, Puteri Anetta Komarudin is a strong candidate among several other candidates.

Dito hopes that the Menpora will be able to continue the various programs he has implemented, one of which is the revision of sports laws that are already under discussion.

"I hope that later the replacement can continue what we have done and have not been completed. Maybe later I can transfer knowledge," said Dito.

The other four ministers who were also attacked were Budi Gunawan (Ministry of Political and Security Coordinator), Sri Mulyani (Ministry of Finance), Abdul Kadir Karding (Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers), and Budi Arie Setiadi (Ministry of Cooperatives).

In addition to the reshuffle, Prabowo also added a new ministry, namely the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Mochammad Irfan Yusuf was also appointed to fill the ministerial position with Danhil Anzar as deputy minister.
