Menpora Dito Ariotedjo Gets Reshuffle

Menpora Dito Ariotedjo was hit by a reshuffle of the Red and White Cabinet (doc. Kemenpora).

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Dito Ariotedjo, was also hit by a reshuffle from the Red and White Cabinet led by President Prabowo Subianto. He is one of the five ministers who was expelled.

This assurance was conveyed directly by the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Prasetyo Hadi, in a press statement at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Monday, September 8, 2025.

"The various considerations, inputs, and evaluations carried out continuously by the President, the President decided to make changes to the composition of the Red and White Cabinet in several ministry positions," said Prasetyo.

In addition to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Prabowo Subianto also expelled Budi Gunawan from the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs and Sri Mulyani from the Ministry of Finance.

Furthermore, there was Abdul Kadir Karding from the Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Works and Budi Arie Setiadi from the Ministry of Cooperatives who was also affected.

"This afternoon there will be an inauguration at the State Palace. As we can convey, hopefully this decision will bring goodness to the nation, state and society," said Prasetyo.

Rumors of the Red and White Cabinet reshuffle have been blowing since this afternoon. Dito had time to improve his farewell via status on Instagram social media.

"Thank you to all those who have worked together trying to make changes in youth and sports. Hopefully, the next successor will continue," wrote Dito.
