Defeated By Alex Marquez In The Catalunya MotoGP, Marquez: It Doesn't Look Out

JAKARTA - Marc Marquez must accept unsatisfactory results after appearing in the 2025 Catalunya MotoGP. Defeated by Alex Marquez, The Baby Alien admitted that he did not go all out in the race.

At the race at the Montmelo Circuit, Sunday, September 7, 2025, WIB night, Marc Marquez failed to reach the first podium. He was defeated by his younger brother, Alex Marquez, who represented Gresini Racing.

Finishing second place makes Marc Marquez unable to lock up the world title in the San Marino MotoGP next week. However, Marc Marquez was not disappointed.

The driver, number 93, even admitted that he did decide not to go all out to hunt for victory. At the end of the race, Marc Marquez chose to play safe to keep the second position.

"There are still seven series left. In the end, my target is to race mentally and mentally. Don't be too hasty, try to control the boundaries, control the bike, and keep points (in the standings)."

Marc Marquez thinks he doesn't have to go all out in the current situation because conditions don't demand him to do that. Since the beginning of the Catalunya MotoGP, Marc Marquez has emphasized his commitment.

"This is a moment to keep going, to keep concentration the same. I am happy because I said last Thursday that there was a moment when I had to accept that there were other riders who were faster than me."

"My sister (Alex Marquez) is faster than me this week," said Marc Marquez.
