Indonesia Wins Big In FIFA Matchday, Taiwan's Gilas 6-0

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team won six goals without reply against Taiwan in the FIFA Matchday match at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, Friday, September 5, 2025.

Indonesia was able to lead four goals without reply in the first half thanks to goals scored by Jordi Amat, Marc Klok, Eliano Reijnders, and Taiwanese player Mang Hsiu Chao's own goal.

Patrick Kluivert's squad overall appeared dominant in the first half with 73 percent possession and fired 12 of them on target.

Indonesia took the initiative to attack first and was able to take a quick lead in the fourth minute through a goal scored by Jordi Amat after receiving Beckham Putra Nugraha's cross so that the score changed to 1-0.

The Garuda squad was able to increase the advantage to 2-0 in the 23rd minute through Mang Hsiu Chao's own goal after chaos in front of the Taiwan goal.

Ten minutes later, Indonesia could increase the advantage to 3-0 through a goal scored by Marc Klok (33') after receiving a pass from Egy Maulana Vikry.

Indonesia managed to close in the first half with a four-goal advantage after Eliano Reijnders (38') scored his debut goal after maximizing a pass from Yakob Sayuri.

In the second half, Indonesia still dominated the match more. Even added goals.

Ramadan Sananta added a goal in the 58th minute. Meanwhile, another goal was scored by substitute Sandy Walsh in the 60th minute.

Until the match led by the Japanese referee, Ryo Tanimoto after the position remained unchanged 6-0 for Indonesia. Furthermore, Indonesia will face Lebanon on the second FIFA Matchday at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Surabaya on Monday 8 September.
