JAKARTA - Chelsea re-negotiated with Bayern Munich over Nicolas Jackson's transfer after the player urged to revive the move.

The west London club last weekend agreed to a deal to loan Jackson to Bayern Munich for an initial fee of 16 million euros (around Rp355 billion) with the option to make it permanent for an additional 65 million euros (ranked Rp1.4 trillion) in the summer of 2026.

In total, Bayern Munich will spend around 81 million euros or around Rp. 1.8 trillion.

Chelsea actually canceled the move after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham which could keep him out for two months or even longer.

However, Jackson is already in Munich ahead of a medical test and he still wants to join the Bundesliga giant.

As a result, Chelsea took steps to repatriate Marc Guiu from a loan spell at Sunderland to coat Joao Pedro - the club's only senior centre-forward to be fit.

The scheme also makes the Blues open to discussing Jackson's permanent departure to Bayern Munich in the coming hours.

Guiu just joined Sunderland on August 6, 2025, but will return to Stamford Bridge amid a shortage of strikers at Chelsea.

After Delap's injury, Enzo Maresca played an alternative to an academy graduate, Tyrique George, on the front lines against Fulham, with Pedro operating as the number 10 player behind him.

However, George still has the opportunity to leave Stamford Bridge before the deadline for transfers amid interest from AS Roma.

Despite repatriating Guiu, Chelsea is still looking for other alternatives. They have asked abouttenting Harder in Sporting Lisbon, but he chose to join RB Leipzig and fly to Germany to complete his move.

Jorgen Strand Larsen of Wolverhampton Wanderers is another player on the Blues' target list.
