After Making Noise, Persib Supporters And PSIM Officially Make Peace

YOGYAKARTA - The supporters of Persib Bandung who forced their way to Yogyakarta officially reconciled with PSIM Yogyakarta supporters after making a fuss. The peace of supporters of the two teams was carried out at the Yogyakarta City Police, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 afternoon.

The aftermath of the chaos that occurred in the Ngabean Parking Special Place (TKP), Yogyakarta City, PSIM and Persib supporters finally met. All supporting containers, Brajamusti, The Maident, Viking, Bobotoh and Ultras were facilitated to meet at the Polresta.

All elements of supporters agreed to continue peace and end the problems that occurred in Ngabean Yogyakarta, Sunday, August 24, 2025. The chaotic incident occurred after the Super League match when PSIM hosted Persib which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul.

A disappointing result for Persib because he was only able to get one point when facing the promotion team. Moreover, Maung Bandung got two penalties.

However, all the golden opportunities through the penalty spot were wasted for failing to complete it. Including Marc Klok's shot in injury time or moments before dispersal. His shot hit the leg of the PSIM goalkeeper.

Yogyakarta Police Chief, Kombes Eva Guna Pandia, said that his party facilitated a meeting between supporters after the incident in Ngabean. The police chief and the entire community hope that the problem will not develop and can be resolved properly.

"We in Yogyakarta do prioritize local wisdom. So we hope that each chairman of the supporters, both from President Brajamusti, Chairman of The Maident, and also chairman of the Viking, Ultras, Bobotoh, will finish together," said the Chief of Police.

"Apart from that, there are many various kinds of information on social media. So we hope that each of these chairmen will appeal to all other relatives to understand that this problem has certainly been resolved amicably," said Eva.

According to him, the incident in Ngabean had actually been resolved at that time. Brajamusti also immediately sent the DPP and immediately communicated with the Kapolresta. But finally there was another incident which was then stuck together even though it was completely different.

"So with this meeting we have agreed between Brajamusti, The Maident, Bobotoh, Viking and Utras that there are no problems," said Muslich, who is familiarly called Thole.

"We will also conduct socialization and education to younger siblings that yesterday's incident should not be repeated. Moreover, it can interfere with our permits at the next home and of course also disrupt the city of Yogyakarta as a tourist city in general," he asserted.

Yogyakarta Stays In The Heart

Tobias Ginanjar Sayidina, Chairman of the Viking Persib Club who was present in person also emphasized that Yogyakarta always gets a special place in the hearts of Bandung supporters. He agreed that he did not want any ongoing problems with PSIM supporters.

"For us in Bandung, Yogyakarta always gets a special place. We don't want any problems to drag on with PSIM supporters. We want everything to be resolved quickly, not spread everywhere," said Tobias.

"We have discussed the chronology. The point is that all of this happened because of the fast information currently on social media and the confusion of false information which caused many parties who should be innocent to become victims," he said.

Tobias hopes that the situation in Yogyakarta can be a valuable lesson together that is no longer repeated. He emphasized that the brotherhood of Bandung and Yogyakarta will continue to be established in the future at any time.

"So each supporters also not to throw false issues at each other. We also find that many parties outside Bandung and Jogja are also heating up, so hopefully we can close spaces for provocateurs and maintain mutual peace," said Tobias.
