Ituma Begins To Be Associated With Duel Against Usyk

JAKARTA Moses Ituma began to be linked with the fight against Oleksandr Usyk after a landslide victory he won against Dillian Whyte last weekend.

The clash between Ituma versus Dillian Whyte took place at Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, evening local time. Ituma won less than two minutes at the duel.

Ituma after the victory said that she was very ready to fight anyone, including Usyk, who is an undisputed world heavyweight champion twice.

"What (plan) next? To be honest I'm ready to fight whoever they put in front of me," Ituma said as reported by Sky Sport.

Usyk immediately received orders to undergo a mandatory WBO belt race against Joseph Parker after making a knockout victory over Daniel Dubois last month.

He was given 30 days starting July 24, 2025. However, the Ukrainian boxing star has sent a letter requesting an extension of negotiations because he is still injured.

The 38-year-old fighter was then given an extension of the negotiation time. However, he could have vacated the WBO and Parker belts automatically became champions.

Ituma said that he wanted Joseph, who is a WBO interm champion, to have the opportunity to fight Usyk to win the belt, but he was also interested in clashing with the Ukrainian champion.

"If I'm really honest, Joseph Parker (and Agit) Kabayel deserves that opportunity (against Oleksandr Usyk), but I also want to take that opportunity," he said.

Usyk is the undisputed world heavyweight champion twice with a record yet to lose. Before winning over Dubois, he won his first undisputed world champion after winning over Tyson Fury last year.

Serhii Lapin, team director Usyk and CEO Ready to Fight, hinted that their clients would not rush into determining the next steps.

"Over the past year and a half, Usyk has achieved historic achievements by becoming an undisputed heavyweight champion twice. This requires extraordinary physical and mental efforts, as well as great sacrifices," he said.

Usyk before fighting Dubois said he would only have two more fights in his professional career before retiring. Parker is also likely his last opponent.

Another fight is likely a potential trilogy against Tyson Fury in 2026. Fury insists he wants to get out of retirement if Usyk wants to get into the ring together for the third time.
