JAKARTA - Bayern Munich has confirmed the signing of Colombia's National Team player, Luis Diaz, from Liverpool.
ESPN reports that the deal is worth 75 million euros (IDR 1.4 trillion), including bonuses.
He became Die Bayern's third signing this summer after Jonathan Tah's arrival from Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim midfielder Tom Bischof.
"I am very happy, being a part of FC Bayern, means a lot to me. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world."
"I want to help my new team by playing football and my character. My goal is to win every possible title. That's what we will try every day as a team," Diaz said in a statement.
Diaz missed Liverpool's friendly against AC Milan on Saturday, July 26, 2025 due to speculation that continues - linking him to his departure from Anfield. He has also been granted permission to leave his pre-season tour of Asia on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Diaz first hinted at his desire to leave Liverpool in the summer of 2024 - with his contract set to expire in 2027 - but the club remained firm when judging by the squad and the market.
Two separate attempts to approve a contract extension failed due to the gap between supply and demand.
There has been a great interest in Diaz throughout the summer, with Liverpool previously rejecting offers from Barcelona and Bayern. They insisted that the forward was not available.
Then, the Reds had rejected a 67.5 million euro offer from Bayern Munich earlier this month. However, after the Bundesliga champions returned with a better offer, Liverpool strongly agreed to his departure.
Diaz enjoyed the most productive season of his Liverpool career 2024/2025, scoring 17 goals in all competitions and helping Arne Slot's side win the Premier League title.
The striker joined Liverpool from FC Porto in January 2022 with a deal of 49 million euros. He has scored 41 goals in 148 appearances with the Merseyside side.
His departure will help balance Liverpool's spending this summer. You see, the Reds spent about 290 million pounds landing Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Hugo Ekitike.
Diaz's sales will also increase revenues generated from player transfers of up to 190 million pounds under Sports Director Richard Hughes, who took over the role last summer.
The money from Diaz's sale allowed Liverpool to now formalize their interest in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, whose availability was asked earlier this month.
The 25-year-old was not included in Newcastle's pre-season tour of Asia after suffering a thigh injury.
However, there was also news that the Swedish player was absent because he had also told the club he wanted to explore the possibility of moving from St. James' Park.
