JAKARTA - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) together with PT Liga Indonesia Baru (PT LIB) or I-League as the operator of the Super League officially collaborate to educate supporters and boost the football industry.
The signing of the cooperation agreement between the two parties was carried out at the Kick-off Launching of Communication, Information and Education Activities (KIE) which took place at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday, July 28, 2028.
President Director of PT LIB, Ferry Paulus, and Deputy for Youth Development at the Ministry of Youth Development, Raden Isnanta, signed and witnessed by Menpora Dito Ariotedjo and PSSI Executive Committee Eko Setiawan.
Dito said that this cooperation agreement is a mandate of Law Number 11 of 2022 concerning Sport, especially Article 55, which regulates the rights and obligations of sports supporters.

"Suporters are the largest and most important variable in the sustainability of the sports industry, especially football. With this collaboration, we hope that supporters when educated can get thicker and the atmosphere will be more friendly," he said.
This collaboration will be tested in 10 points, namely Persija Jakarta, Persib Bandung, PSM Makassar, Persebaya Surabaya, Bali United, Arema FC, PSS Sleman, Semen Padang, Borneo FC Samarinda, and Maluku United.
Dito emphasized that this step was not an intervention but a strategic effort made by the Government to help improve the quality of the national sports industry.

This strategic collaboration between Kemenpora and I-League will be an important milestone in forming the generation of Indonesian football supporters who are ethical, intelligent, and proud of diversity.
Ferry Paulus emphasized that the full commitment of the I-League to support this educational agenda is considering that the 2025/2026 season competition will begin soon.
