JAKARTA The Indonesian Olympic Committee (NOC Indonesia) guarantees that all Indonesian table tennis athletes can participate in all single and multi-event international activities without discrimination.
NOC Indonesia won the trust of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) to form a new table tennis body following the issuance of the Central Board of the Indonesian Table Tennis Association (PP PTMSI) from ITTF members.
The President of NOC Indonesia, Raja Sapta Oktohari, guarantees that the new agency will oversee all the best potential that Indonesia has without discriminatory treatment.

ITTF mandated NOC Indonesia and recognized Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL) as a member association in Indonesia when holding the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Doha, Qatar, on 27 May 2025.

The AGM decision received approval from the 2/3 NTTF (National Table Tennis Federation) which was present and in accordance with the mechanism regulated in the ITTF Statute.
The decision was also based on an understanding between ITTF and the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU). Both support NOC Indonesia's view that table tennis in Indonesia requires a new beginning.
On this occasion, the ITTF also stated that PP PTMSI was removed from its membership and specifically asked NOC Indonesia to form a temporary Transitional Committee until the IPL management leadership election was held.
The Transitional Committee is chaired by Anindya Bakrie (Chairman of Indonesian Aquatics), Deputy Chairperson of Ita Yuliati (General Chair of the Indonesian Gamenastic Federation). From NOC Indonesia, there are Harry Warganegara and Secretary General Wijaya Noeradi who have communicated with ITTF from the start, as well as Ferry Kono from Inaspro.
Okto emphasized that in every decision making, NOC Indonesia continued to coordinate with the international federation (IF) and was mutually agreed upon by members through the decision of the Member Meeting.

The Indonesian Transitional Committee Pingpong League has three important tasks according to the mandate given by the ITTF while waiting for the IPL to hold a leadership election congress in accordance with the relevant statutes.
These tasks include registration of athletes and officials at international table tennis events, organizing international events in Indonesia if any, as well as supervising the implementation of the selection of IPL management leaders.
