Arsenal One Step Again Gaet Gyokeres, Replacement Of Havertz Ready To Hold Next Season?

Arsenal are reportedly getting closer to securing Sporting Lisbon's sharp striker Viktor Gyokeres, who is predicted to be Kai Havertz's ideal replacement to revive the ambitions of next season's Premier League champions.

After failing to bring intensify Watkins from Aston Villa in the transfer market last January, manager Mikel Arteta did not want to repeat the same mistake. The passive decision in winter proved crucial Arsenal had to hand over the Premier League title to Liverpool.

Now, the Gunners are moving fast. According to a report from Fichajes, Arsenal has made an offer of 60 million pounds (around Rp1.3 trillion) for Gyokores and is finalizing a five-year contract behind the scenes.

Kai Havertz did score 9 goals in 23 Premier League matches, but his performance was often considered inconsistent and less sharp when needed. Meanwhile, Arsenal's expected goals (xG) only reached 59.9, which is the 7th best in the league clearly a warning that line creativity needs to be improved.

Additional Target, Eberechi Eze?

To optimize Gyokeres' potential, Arteta is also reportedly also interested in bringing in playmaker Eberechi Eze. If this transfer is realized, Arsenal will not only have a sharp striker, but also a great creator in midfield who can open up space and create golden opportunities.
