Young PSG, Doue And Mayulu Players, Can't Break The Record Of The Indonesian National Team Coach

JAKARTA - The young Paris Saint-Germain players, Desire Doue and Senny Mayulu, stole the attention in the Champions League final match. Both of them became the youngest players to score in the match against Inter Milan. However, they could not break the record for the coach of the Indonesian national team.

Doue earned all individual awards after bringing PSG to a 5-0 win over Inter in a duel at the Allianz Arena Stadium, Munich, Sunday, June 1, 2025 in the morning WIB. The player aged 19 years 362 today not only scored a brace but also made an assist that opened PSG's victory.

From that assist, defender Achraf Hakimi managed to convert into a goal. An irony is that Hakimi was once from the Inter squad before joining PSG.

Doue's brilliant performance, who played 64 minutes before being replaced by Bradley Barcola, made him the Man of The Match or Best Player.

He also matched legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Filippo Inzaghi, and Gareth Bale who scored more than one goal in the Champions League final.

In that match it was indeed a stage for young people. Apart from Doue, coach Luis Enrique gave Mayulu the opportunity to be sent down in the 84th minute to replace Fabian Ruiz. Just two minutes into play, Mayulu has broken into the Inter goal to complete PSG's 5-0 victory.

Mayulu herself is younger than Doue. She was 19 years and 14 days old when she played in the final match. Not only them, Enrique also fielded Warren Zare-Emery's young man. The 19-year-old midfielder came on to replace Joao Neves in the 84th minute.

It's just that Mayulu and Doue have not been able to break the record for Patrick Kluivert, the coach of the Indonesian national team. Kluivert was 18 years old 327 days when they broke into AC Milan's goal in the 1995 Champions League final match.

Kluivert's goal is the only one created and at the same time brings Ajax Amsterdam to a 1-0 win.

This makes Kluivert the youngest player to score in the history of the Champions League final. The record of the former Dutch national team striker, which is now expected to raise the achievements of the Red and White team, has not been broken.
