English MotoGP: There Have Been 10 Different Winners Since 2013

JAKARTA The 2025 MotoGP race will resume this weekend at the Silverstone Circuit, England. There were 10 different winners in the last 10 Grand Prix there.

The seventh series in the 2025 season racing calendar will take place on 23-25 May 2025. The facts above open up the possibility of a different 11th winner on the weekend tomorrow.

The visit to Silverstone resulted in more than a decade of uncertainty. No one has won more than once there, from Jorge Lorenzo to Enea Bastianini.

Lorenzo is the last rider to win a straight victory there. The Spaniard was recorded on the highest podium there in 2012 and 2013.

Marc Marquez then broke the record in the 2014 race. The Baby Alien's journey that season ended with the second world title in his career.

The following year it was Valentino Rossi's turn to dominate Silverstone. He had led the top of the standings afterwards and competed for the world title, which finally fell into Lorenzo's hands.

Maverick Vinales then got on the podium in the 2016 season, which was Suzuki's first win since 2007. Following that, the highest podium also belonged to Andrea Dovizioso.

The MotoGP race in England was later canceled due to bad weather in the 2018 edition. After that, Alex Rins defeated Marquez in the thrilling last lap fight in the 2019 edition.

In 2020, the race there did not take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world at that time. Fabio Quartararo then managed to come out victorious the following season.

After Quartararo's extraordinary journey to win the title, successive victories there belonged to Francesco Bagnaia, Aleix Espargaro, and Enea Bastianini.
