Curry Looks Gemilang, Warriors Win Seventh Victory After Defeating Knicks

JAKARTA - The Golden State Warriors have won their seventh victory so far. With Stephen Curry's slick appearance, they managed to extend the winning streak.

Curry, who had just celebrated his 37th birthday the day before, performed brilliantly two days after making history as the first player in the NBA with 4,000 three-point shots.

Citing the NBA page from ANTARA, this match also made history for Golden State Warriors Coach Steve Kerr, who officially became the coach with the most regular wins in club history.

Warriors have now won 12 of their last 13 games and have shown more consistency, especially since Jimmy Butler's arrival.

Karl-Anthony Towns became the mainstay of the Knicks by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds. He had given his team hope with a three-point shot with 4 minutes 38 seconds remaining, before finally having to leave due to a foul-out in stoppage time.

Towns started the match with an impressive double past Jimmy Butler. However, Butler, who has now played 15 games with Warriors since his debut on February 8, has again become an important factor with contributions of 11 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

Warriors recorded a record 14-2 (14 wins, 2 losses) since their arrival, including 14-1 in the games they played.

Despite losing, the Knicks took the lead in the race for a rebound with a thin margin of 49-45. Previously, they recorded two consecutive wins, including a dramatic 114-113 win over the Portland Trail Blazers over time last Thursday.

The game features several special moments, including Butler's shot from a distance of 11.5 meters to close the first quarter.

However, overall, Warriors are not as sharp as usual in shooting from outside the three-point line. After recording the accuracy of 56.4 percent and 51.2 percent of the tripoin in the previous two matches, they were only able to include 13 of the 41 attempts (31.7 percent) in this match.

Furthermore, the Knicks will return to New York to host the Miami Heat on Monday (18/3) night, while the Warriors continue their long journey home to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, March 19.
