Escorted By Thousands Of Bobotoh During Exercise Ahead Of The Opponents Of Persija, Persib Promises To Win Three Points

Bobotoh supports Persib in training before against Perija (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung received direct support from thousands of supporters while doing training ahead of Persija Jakarta's opponents in Liga 1 2024/2025. Responding to this support, Maung Bandung promised to bring back three points.

The match between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung will be held at the Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Before visiting Jakarta, player Maung Bandung matured by undergoing training at the Gelora Bandung Stadium, Lautan Api (GBLA) on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

On that agenda the supporters have even been at GBLA since 09.00 WIB. After training one hour later, Persib players and coaches approached Bobotoh in the east and north tribunes to give promises.

Persib captain, Marc Klok, came forward to speak on behalf of Persib Bandung's players. Klok said Persib players promised to bring all their abilities to win three points at Persija's headquarters.

"Bobotoh, as a representative of the team, thank you very much for being here. From the heart, thank you for supporting us."

"Together, we are stronger to try to take the three points against Persija. We, who are on the field, will give (performance) as much as possible."

"I ask you, stay behind, continue to support and remain positive," Klok said as quoted from Persib's official website on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Persib coach, Bojan Hodak, apparently ended training early so that he and the players could meet Bobotoh in the stadium stands.

He considered the match against Persija very important with rival status between the two camps.

"Today's exercise ended 10 minutes from what it should have been. However, it's okay because we understand Bobotoh's wishes. This is an important match this year," said Hodak.

"The players were touched and emotional after seeing how much support they gave us. It's fun for us to have that much support," he said again.

With the presence of Bobotoh, Hodak said that there was hope of motivation from Ciro Alves and his friends so that they could maintain their position at the top.

"Our preparations are going well. We are doing what needs to be done. There are still two days to do the rest. I think we will be fully ready in the match later," he said.
