JAKARTA The National Selection (Selection) of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) 2025 was attended by 111 badminton players from 13 clubs throughout Indonesia.
The 2025 National Selection was officially opened by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports as well as Deputy Chairperson I of PBSI, Taufik Hidayat, at the PBSI National Training Center, Cipayung, East Jakarta, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
"I still remember more than 25 years ago. How do I stand in your position, a young athlete full of ambition, hope, and determination to prove myself," said Taufik in an official statement received.
Selection can only be followed by athletes aged 19 years and under in various sectors. They will fight for entrance tickets to the second phase of the PBSI National Training Center.

The details of the clubs that sent their athletes consisted of PB Djarum (49), DYS Candra Wijaya (3), Exist Badminton Club (11), Gideon Badminton (5), Jaya Raya Jakarta (16), Mutiara Cardinal (10), PB AIC (3), Power Rajawali (4), Pelatkot Tangel (4), Pelatprov East Java (3), Putra Mainaky (2), Tangkas (4), and Taqi Arena (1).

The 2025 PBSI National Selection will be held on 11-15 February 2025 at the PBSI National Training Center, Cipayung, East Jakarta. Athletes who can take part in the National Selection are single athletes and doubles champion of the 2024 cadet individual championship.
