Putri KW Prepares To Appear At BAMTC 2025

Putri Kusuma Wardani is preparing to appear at the 2025 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA The women's singles badminton player, Putri Kusuma Wardani, is preparing to take part in the 2025 Mixed Team Asian Badminton Championships after becoming a semifinalist at Thailand Masters 2025 last week.

The 2025 Asian Team Badminton Championships or Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships (BAMTC) are scheduled to take place at the Conson Gimnasium, Qingdao, China, on 11-16 February 2025.

"After this, I will immediately prepare for the 2025 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships," said Putri in an official statement received from PBSI Public Relations.

This badminton player who was born in Tangerang previously appeared to defend Indonesia in the same event in the 2023 edition. At that time, Indonesia's journey only reached the quarter-finals.

At that time, Putri contributed two points in the group stage after winning against Zeina Kazma (Lebanon) and Lizbeth Elsa Binu (Bahrain). Indonesia then qualified as group winners.

Putri is also trusted to play in the knockout stages against South Korea. Unfortunately, he lost three games against Kim Ga-eun which made Indonesia eliminated with a 1-3 defeat.

"The team match must be different atmospheres even though the opponents are almost the same. So, hopefully I can always show my best and contribute points to Indonesia," said Putri.

Thailand Masters 2025 last week was the third Women's tournament this year. His journey at the Super 300 BWF level event was the best because it penetrated the semifinals.

Before playing there, he also appeared in the Malaysia Open and Indonesia Masters 2025. In these two tournaments, the 22-year-old badminton player managed to reach the quarter-finals.
