Ruben Amorim Feels Older After Two Months Of Working At Manchester United

Ruben Amorim came to Old Trafford from Sporting CP in mid-November 2025. Having worked at Manchester United for almost three months, the Portuguese coach feels older than he is now.

Amoram celebrates his 40th birthday on Monday, January 27, 2025. However, after a win over Fulham on Monday morning WIB, he said he felt much older after his brief time at Manchester United.

"It's not 40. I'm 50!" After two months at Manchester United, it's been 50 years."

"It's a privilege to spend my 40th birthday here."

"The feeling of winning and those three points is very important to us. You can't see a big improvement in the team and that's a fact. However, winning helps us to improve."

"We were unlucky in a few games. Today, not the best game, but we managed to win," Amorim said after the match.

As a implied, Amoram seemed to want to say that his work at Manchester United made his face tense more often than he smiled.

You see, as long as he handled the Red Devils, he had lost seven in all of the 17 matches he had played, including the victory over Fulham.

The Portuguese coach only won eight times and drew twice during that period.

"The important thing is that I have clear ideas about what I want to do. Sometimes I get frustrated."

"We want to play a different style and we will play a different style in the future," said Amorim.

Manchester United improved their position in the Premier League standings by climbing the 12th stairs. They collected 29 points throughout 23 league games.
