Liga 1 2024/2025: Persib Telan Perdana Defeat

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung suffered its first defeat in Liga 1 2024/2025. Unfortunately, the defeat was obtained when competing at home.

Maung Bandung had to admit Dewa United's 0-2 victory in the 19th week of Liga 1 2024/2025 which was held at the Gelora Bandung Stadium, Lautan Api, Friday, January 17, 2025.

Persib Bandung as the host actually started the game nicely. Getting direct support from supporters, they immediately pressed Dewa United's defense.

However, it turns out that the son of the Gods does not remain silent. Dewa United also pressed back. Until the 15th minute Egy Maulan Vikri and Hugo Gomes repeatedly looked for loopholes to open the scoring first.

Two minutes later or precisely in the 17th minute, a golden opportunity was created for Persib Bandung.

In injury time, the visitors managed to increase their advantage to 2-0 through Septian Bagaskara's kick. The score then lasted until the match was over.

Dewa United became the first team to give Persib injuries in Liga 1 this season after 19 matches.

This defeat did not change Persib's position at the top of the League 1 standings by packing 40 points.

Meanwhile, this victory made Dewa United move up to fourth in the standings by packing 31 points from 19 matches.
