India Open 2025: Schedule Of 2 Indonesian Representatives In Quarter Finals

Gregoria Mariska Tunjung will appear in the quarter-finals of the India Open 2025 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Indonesia only has two representatives to stay at the 2025 India Open. They will fight in the quarter-finals on Friday, January 17, 2025.

The remaining two representatives represent the women's and men's singles. In the women's singles number is Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and the men's singles number is Jonatan Christie.

Gregoria got a ticket for the quarter-finals after he defeated the Japanese representative, Natik Nidaira. Meanwhile, Jonathan repatriated China's Taipei representative, Su Li Yang.

Gregoria, who is the fourth seed in this tournament, will then face the host's representative, Pusarla V. Sindhu. Both will participate in the seventh match of Field 1.

This will be their 14th competitive clash. Gregoria had a winning record of 3-10, but in the last clash in the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open 2024, he came out victorious.

Meanwhile, Jonathan will face China Taipei's representative, Lin Chun Yi. In their only previous competitive clash at the French Open 2023, Jonathan came out victorious.

Indonesia has only deployed five representatives in India Open 2025. The fate of the other three representatives was one each in the first half and two packing suitcases in the second half.
