Marc Marquez: I've Achieved What I Want

JAKARTA - Ducati Lenovo's racer, Marc Marquez, said that he has now achieved all his wishes during his career in MotoGP.

The Spaniard is now the most active racer who won the title by obtaining eight titles and six of them are six MotoGP world titles.

"I've achieved what I want. The target is to try and extend my career and try to be competitive again. Then, if I win another title, this will be something in the other hands. But my main goal has been achieved," said Marc Marquez, quoted from the MotoGP page, Sunday.

The racer, nicknamed The King of Crasher or the King of Falls, has just finished an agreement to move the team from Gresini Racing to Ducati Lenovo.

Marquez, who had experienced a slumped season with Honda because he had to struggle with injury and engine problems, last season began to show quite promising performances.

Together with Gresini, Marquez recorded three Grand Prix wins, seven podiums and was ranked third in the final MotoGP 2024 standings.

To hunt for the ninth title of his career, Marquez must at least compete with his teammate Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia, defending champion Jorge Martin and former colleague Enea Bastianini.
