Tyson Fury Accepts Defeat To Oleksandr Usyk And Plans To Vacation Together

JAKARTA - Tyson Fury put on a big face and accepted his first defeat in professional boxing.

He lost to Oleksandr Usyk in the duel for the undisputed world heavyweight title on Saturday, May 18, 2024, local time or Sunday, May 19, 2024, early morning WIB.

Fury immediately kissed his head and hugged Usyk after the 12-round duel. He talks warm like no previous rivalry while waiting for the jury's results.

"I want to come to Ukraine with my family and take a vacation with your family. You can come to my house and take a vacation with me."

Usyk replied, "No problem, friend."

Fury continued, "Good job Oleksandr. You are a strong man and a very good boxer."

While holding Usyk's head, Fury added, "It's very good, my brother in Christ."

Usyk replied again, "Listen, I started preparing (the duel against) you when you boxed in 2008, European champions."

The boxer's answer came as a surprise. Apparently, he monitored Fury when he became the EU junior champion in 2007.

Fury then replied, "Thank you, my brother. You are a very good boxer. I like it, I like it. Good movement."

"My brother, we'll have beer after this, alcohol-free!" Fury said again as reported by The Sun.

The team of both sides also seemed cool. They hug warm.

"Thank you friends, we all appreciate you," Fury team member told Usyk's team.
