Regent: For The First Time In Cianjur, Zero Cases And Zero Patients

CIANJUR - The Regent of Cianjur, West Java, Herman Suherman, claimed that for the first time during the COVI-19 pandemic, the Cianjur area had zero cases, even in the isolation center and special villas there were no patients undergoing treatment.

"Just today, Cianjur has zero cases, either transmission or patients who are still undergoing treatment. There are no more patients in isolation centers, such as hospitals and special villas. One day ago, a patient in the isolation room of the Cianjur Hospital was allowed to go home and was declared cured, " he was quoted as saying by Antara, Friday, October 29.

Although the transmission rate has returned to zero cases, his party continues to intensify various ways so that there are no more positive patients, including vaccination campaigns to remote areas and closer to vaccination service centers that were previously centered in urban areas. Currently, vaccination is being held up to the RT level so that residents can easily come.

In fact, to achieve the vaccination target of up to 100 percent or 1.9 million recipients, his party involved all devices ranging from cross-agency, Forkopimda to community organizations, including requiring Puskesmas to provide vaccination services every day.

"We are targeting that every day the Puskesmas can provide vaccinations for 1,000 recipients or more. To attract residents, medical personnel are assisted by village officials to RT, including assistance from Babinkamtibmas and Babinsa in each region," he said.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Cianjur COVID-19 Information and Coordination Center, Dr. Yusman Faisal, said that during the pandemic the transmission rate in Cianjur reached more than 10 thousand people and most of them had recovered, 201 of whom died because they had a history of comorbidities.

Before zero cases, 12 people were recorded as positive, 4 people underwent isolation in hospitals and others at home. "Our hope is that zero cases can be maintained, so that no one is exposed. We still urge residents to be vigilant and maintain the process," he said.
