2 KM Liberty Crew Members Who Drowned In A Storm In Bali Waters Are Found, One Person Dies

The SAR team searches for the crew of KM Liberty I who drowned in a storm in the waters of Bali (DOK Basarnas Bali)

DENPASAR - The SPOB Seroja 01 ship found two crew members (ABK) KM Liberty I who sank in a storm in the waters north of Bali.

The head of the Bali Basarnas, Gede Darmada, confirmed the discovery of the two crew members of KM Liberty I. The report was received by Basarnas Bali from the ship's agent KM Liberty Saifudin at 18.33 WITA.

"The two people on behalf of Rivaldy Refly (as) oil interpreter and Hadiq Zain (chef) When found Rivaldy Refly were still safe but Hadiq Zain was already dead," said Darmada in a written statement, Wednesday, October 27 night.

Currently, the SPOB Seroja 01 ship is evacuating these two victims to Lembar Harbor, Lombok.

"We have coordinated with the Mataram Search and Rescue Office. The estimated arrival at Lembar Harbor is around 6 am," said Darmada.

Tomorrow, the Bali Basarnas plans to conduct a further search at the point where the 2 crew members were found by deploying KN SAR Arjuna 229.

The location of the discovery is about 40.56 NM with heading 51.29° from Celukan Bawang Harbor, Buleleng. Basarnas will search for the seven crew members who are still missing.
