JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD said the Task Force for Handling State Collection Rights for Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI Task Force) has so far succeeded in depositing billions of rupiah and millions of US dollars.

The money is obtained from BLBI obligors and debtors who have paid their obligations after being billed by the team.

"Now it has been obtained from the work of this team since it was first formed, namely the funds deposited into the state treasury amounting to Rp. .

In addition, this task force has also succeeded in blocking 339 collateral assets and blocking shares of 24 companies.

"For property assets, there are 59 land certificates blocked in various regions, then there is a transfer of names on behalf of the government to 335 certificates," said the former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK).

Furthermore, Mahfud explained that there was an extension of the government's right to 543 certificates spread across 19 provinces. "Then the next step is to determine the status of the use of usage or PSP to seven ministries/agencies, namely we determine the status of use to BNN, BNPT, Police, Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Finance, and BPS with a total value of Rp791.17 billion," he said.

It was also explained that there was physical possession of 97 plots of land in Jakarta, Medan, Pekanbaru, Tangerang and Bogor with an area of 5,320,148.97 square meters.

Finally, he also explained that a property asset grant has been made to the Bogor City Government worth Rp345.73 billion. "So we can give it there," he said.
