Nurses In Makassar Fake Vaccine Certificates, Danny Pomanto: Don't Play, Be Legally Processed

MAKASSAR - The Mayor of Makassar, Moh Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) takes seriously the case of counterfeiting the COVID-19 vaccine letter by a nurse with the initials WD.

The perpetrator is known to work on a contract basis at the Daya Hospital and was once placed at the Paccerakg Health Center, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

"He is a contract employee, not only by us, but also by the law, because it is a criminal act because he falsified it (the vaccine letter)," Danny Pomanto said in Makassar, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 26.

With the discovery of this case, Danny Pomanto emphasized that all puskesmas must be careful and careful about the same method that the nurse was using in collaboration with her boyfriend, with the initials FT.

Danny also appreciated and praised the pattern of handling the Makassar City Health Office which moved quickly to find these indications, including routinely carrying out monitoring and evaluation (monev) with related parties until the unlawful act was exposed.

"I think this is part of the performance of all related parties. I remind you not to play games if in Makassar we want everyone to be honest," said Danny.

Meanwhile, the acting head of the Makassar City Health Office, Nursaidah Sirajuddin, said that the mode of falsification of health documents was exposed because his party was continuously monitoring, including the implementation of vaccinations.

"We are monitored by the Inspectorate and BPK, they come down every month to see if there is a logistics match with the P-Care application," he said.

"Apparently, we got it in September at the Paccerakang Health Center, not in accordance with the logistics that we allocated with the data in P-Care," he said.

This was revealed based on different data on the server and the number of vaccine vials that came out, because the range was too far from the data that had been vaccinated, there were already 179 people, so the cause was immediately sought.

The incident, he said, was immediately reported to the mayor and an internal meeting was ordered to gather all the staff and the Head of the Paccerakg Health Center, but no one acknowledged the discrepancy in the data.

It was later identified that one of the contract nurses with the initials WD had worked at the Paccerakg Health Center, but had left and worked at the Daya General Hospital.

"Maybe at the time of the mass vaccination he (WD) was asked for help to access the application (care for protection). Maybe he remembered there, so he could enter data in the application," he said.

Previously, the police named two suspects with the initials WD and FT in the case of falsifying vaccine documents. The perpetrator's mode of falsifying vaccine documents and entering data on people who have been vaccinated even though they have never been vaccinated.

Both of them were charged with the Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) Law and Health were threatened with 12 imprisonment and a fine of Rp. 15 billion.
