Viral Men In Denpasar Deposit Car DP Of Rp50 Million But Beaten And Dragged Forced To Join 3 Men

DENPASAR - Being viral on social media, men in Denpasar, Bali were forced to enter and even beaten by three well-built men.

In a video that is already crowded on the regional information Instagram account, this man in Denpasar initially deposited IDR 50 million as a down payment for the purchase of an Innova car.

But instead of accepting the car, the man in Denpasar was pulled and forced into the car. There were 3 well-built men forcibly pulling the man. Allegedly this is a crime with car sales fraud.

When forced into a car, this man in Denpasar screamed and fought back. Until finally the people came to intervene.

The Head of Public Relations of the Denpasar Police, Iptu Ketut Sukadi, confirmed the viral incident. The location is at the PU office, Jalan Gatot Subroto VI, Denpasar, Bali.

"Yes, there has been a beating incident, which has gone viral on social media," said Sukadi, Tuesday, October 26.

The victim is known as I Made Pande Windu Merta (28). Meanwhile, the three suspects are Andi Masait alias Asep (42), Oter Ali (55) and Samuel Erik Mekolie alias Oscar.

The incident started when the victim met one of the perpetrators in order to buy a car. However, after the perpetrator and the victim met, the victim was invited by the perpetrator to buy a drink at a mini market near the scene.

Then two friends of the perpetrator came and forced the victim to get into the perpetrator's car, resulting in a tug of war.

The perpetrator hit the victim with his fist clenched on the victim's lips and the other perpetrator smothered the victim's neck. However, the victim tried to fight back and ran for help in the direction of the crowd.

"After receiving reports from the public that there had been a commotion, North Denpasar Police personnel came to the scene. Then secured the perpetrator and took the victim to the Police," he added.

The victim has reported this incident to the police. Meanwhile, the perpetrators are still being investigated intensively.

"(The perpetrators) are still being examined and information is being taken. The latest information from the North Denpasar Police Chief, the victim reports back for the case to be processed," said Sukadi.
