Adian Was Brought Back To Jakarta To Undergo Treatment

JAKARTA - Shocking news came from a politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Adian Napitupulu. This former 98 student activist reportedly collapsed while on a flight from Jakarta to Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, while carrying out his duties as a member of Commission I of the Indonesian Parliament.

The truth of this news was confirmed to the politician's party colleague, Rudianto Tjen, when contacted on Thursday 19 December. From the information circulating among the media crew, Adian does have a history of heart disease. He eventually collapsed from exhaustion.

DPR member from F-PDIP, Rudianto Tjen, confirmed the incident. He admitted that he was with Adian on a trip to Palangka Raya for a work visit.

Adian's current condition, said Rudi, has improved. He had received first aid from cabin crew and passengers who happened to be doctors.

After the plane landed in Palangka Raya, he continued, Adian was immediately evacuated to the nearest hospital. The hospital finally referred Adian to RSUD Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya to be given intensive care.

Contacted separately, PDIP politician Eva Sundari confirmed that Adian's collapse was due to a heart disease he suffered. Adian will undergo treatment in Jakarta.

"Yes, heart disease. Info from the Secretary General (Hasto Kristiyanto), at 1:00 p.m., the plan is to take him to Jakarta by charter plane," said Eva, to VOI.

Adian has already placed five rings on the heart

Adian once revealed that five rings had been planted in his heart. For this reason also, when he received an offer to become a minister in Jokowi's second term Indonesia Maju Jokowi, Adian was reluctant to accept it.
