JAKARTA - Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau of the Constitutional Court (MK) Pan Mohamad Faiz said the trial of the lawsuit on the results of the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) will begin after all application files are declared complete and registered.
"The trial will begin after all the files are declared complete and have been registered. There will be a summons for the parties to attend the preliminary hearing," said Faiz when contacted, Friday, April 18, as quoted by Antara.
Faiz has not disclosed the schedule for the initial trial for the PSU lawsuit case. However, he ensured that the trial schedule would be announced openly to the public.
"The trial at the Constitutional Court will also be broadcasted openly and live again," he added.
It was also explained that the trial for case examination will continue to use the panel trial mechanism. The composition of the constitutional judges for each panel is predicted to not change from the composition when the trial of the 2024 Pilkada results lawsuit took place from January to February.
