JAKARTA - The official website of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) turned out to be a victim of hacking by defacement on Wednesday, October 20.

The news of this hack was announced via the Twitter account @son1x777. In his tweet quoted on Monday, October 25, he stated that BSSN's account had been hacked.

"NSA and Indonesia pwnetada fds KKKKKKKKKKKK", the account said, which belonged to members of theMx0nday hacking.

Responding to this, BSSN spokesman Anton Setiawan confirmed that his website had been hacked and the perpetrators were said to be in Brazil.

"So far, the indications are from Brazil, but we are still investigating. Because in this cyberspace, anyone can confess", Anton said when confirmed by reporters, Monday, October 25.

He then explained that the BSSN site, which is located at www.pusmanas.bssn.go.id, was immediately handled by the BSSN CSIRT Team and has been completed.

"Because the site contains data about the malware repository", said Anton.

"(The handling, red) has been completed because it is only a defacement. Access has also been closed", he concluded.
