Ditlantas Polda Metro Has Not Implemented Traffic Tickets At 10 Gage Points, 3 Days Still Socializing

JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya stated that it would not immediately take action against violators at 10 odd-even points (Gage). Because, for three days socialization will be carried out first.

"The 10 additional areas for the next three days are still being socialized," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Monday, October 25.

In the socialization, continued Sambodo, his party will install large signs. Thus, motorists know that the odd-even action at the 10 points will begin on Thursday, October 28.

The areas include Fatmawati Street, Panglima Polim Street, Sisimgangaraja Street, MT Haryono Street, Gatot Subroto Street, S Parman Street, Tomang Raya Street, Gunung Sahari Street, DI Panjaitan Street, and Ahmad Yani Street.

"We put up big signs and then if someone violates the date it doesn't match the date, we will stop it, but then we are told that we haven't received a ticket," said Sambodo.

Meanwhile, for the other three areas, action will be immediately applied. All odd-even violators will be fined.

"But for the 3 old areas, immediate action was taken. Sudirman, Thamrin, and Rasuna Said," said Sambodo.

Previously reported, Polda Metro Jaya together with the Provincial Government (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta decided to expand the implementation of odd-even areas in the Jakarta area. Where, there are currently 13 odd-even application points.

Despite the expansion of the odd-even point of application, the time of application has not changed. The odd-even scheme will be implemented in two shifts, morning and evening.

"Then the time of application remains in effect in the morning and evening from 06.00 WIB to 10.00 WIB in the morning. Then in the evening or afternoon from 16.00 pm to 21.00 WIB," said Sambodo.
