SOLO - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Surakarta City Police is still investigating the case of the death of a student at the Sebelas Maret University (UNS).

UNS student Gilang Endy (23) reportedly died after participating in the Student Regiment's Education and Training (Training) activity, at Jurug Jebres Solo, Central Java.

"In essence, there is an activity (Menwa Education and Training)," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Surakarta Police, AKP Djohan Andika, as quoted by Antara, Monday, October 25.

He said the students were Keti Hamlet, Dayu Village, Karangpandan District, Karanganyar Regency.
