Ganjar Pranowo Meets Risma During A Pilgrimage To Bung Karno's Tomb

BLITAR - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo made a pilgrimage to Bung Karno's Tomb in Blitar City, East Java. At the location, Ganjar met Tri Rismaharini (Risma).f

Ganjar, wearing a black polo shirt, arrived at the Bung Karno Tomb complex near noon and went straight to the headstone to say a prayer.

After the pilgrimage, Ganjar then performed the noon prayer at the mushalla of Bung Karno's Tomb. Met by reporters after the prayer, Ganjar admitted that there was no special agenda for a pilgrimage to Bung Karno's grave.

Ganjar admitted that he only intended to make a pilgrimage after previously visiting the Ranu Darungan Orchid Garden in Lumajang, East Java.

"Yes, it's just a pilgrimage, I've been seeing orchids here," he said, quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 24.

While on a pilgrimage, Ganjar met with Social Minister Tri Rismaharini, although, he said, there was no appointment.

"'Mboten' made an appointment. Mrs. Risma has been here for two days, she has a really top job. This is all done. Yes, it was a coincidence that when I came here, I met you. Eh, where did Mrs. Risma go?" he said he was looking for the whereabouts of Social Minister Risma.

During the pilgrimage, Ganjar also received a gift in the form of a sketch of his face from pencil scratches on paper from a Blitar resident named Charis. Ganjar said he was happy to receive the prize.

"I am happy to receive a gift from the people of Blitar, this is a very valuable gift because it is made directly from the creative hands of the citizens of Blitar City," he said.
