PALU - After the video of Ahmad Panjang's mother, a suspected Poso terrorist asking her son to return home, was spread on social media, now an invitation from another East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) family wanted list (DPO) is circulating on social media.
The 45-second video records a man with a white skullcap. In the video, the man suspected of belonging to the MIT Poso DPO family asked the DPO named Hamzah to return home immediately.
"Hamzah has gone home, your father is no longer strong, now you are sick. Come back home, help father who can no longer travel and look for food," he asked in a video quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 24.
"I'm sick now, I can't go up and down this stage at home. Let's go home, son, help your father garden," he said.
The video was later confirmed by the Deputy Chief of Operations Public Relations of Madago Raya AKBP Bronto Budiyono. According to Bronto, in the video, it is suspected that he is the parent of one of the MIT Poso DPOs.
However, said Bronto, there were two DPOs using the name Hamzah.
"The two DPOs are Hamzah H. Abidin alias Nae alias Galuh and Askar alias Jaid alias Hamzah alias teacher," he explained.
Bronto explained that whoever's parents were, who was obviously quite old in age, expected their children to come home and realize their mistakes.
"Whoever it is, they should listen to their parents and give themselves up immediately," said Bronto.
Previously, the two-minute twenty-seven-second video was spread on social media. This video is the mother of one of the suspected DPO MIT Poso, namely Ahmad Panjang.
In the video, the mother asks her son to hurry home and meet him and other family members.
"Son, where are you, son, I really want to meet you, son," he said in the video.
The police continue to appeal to the rest of the MIT Poso DPOs to immediately surrender to the police.
Until now, the Madago Raya Task Force combined with the TNI/Polri are still pursuing the rest of the Poso MIT DPO suspected of being in the mountainous areas of Poso, Parigi Moutong and Sigi.
