Be Careful, Ok! MBKG Weather Forecast Heavy Rain Will Hit Most Provinces, Here's Jakarta's Condition

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts the weather for today. Heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds covered most of Indonesia's provinces on Sunday.

According to weather forecast information published on the official BMKG website, heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds have the potential to fall in the provinces of Aceh, Bengkulu, Jambi, Lampung, Riau, West Sumatra, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, Banten, West Java, and East Java.

Heavy rains accompanied by lightning and strong winds are also forecasted in the provinces of West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, Gorontalo, Maluku and West Papua.

Areas facing the potential for heavy rains and strong winds need to be aware of the possibility of natural disasters such as floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the entire administrative area of DKI Jakarta on Sunday will be covered with cloudy skies. Through its official website, early Sunday, the BMKG said that four areas, namely the Thousand Islands Regency, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and Central Jakarta, will be cloudy and cloudy from morning tonight.

The temperature range in the four regions is between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius with humidity levels of 55 to 90 percent.

Meanwhile, the Administrative Cities of East Jakarta and South Jakarta will experience light rain on Sunday afternoon and will be cloudy again in the evening. Temperatures in both areas are around 24-34 degrees Celsius and humidity levels are 55-85 percent.

However, the BMKG issued an early warning in Bogor City and Bogor Regency as well as Depok City which is predicted to experience heavy rain accompanied by wind and lightning on Sunday afternoon until evening.
