BANYUWANGI- Police arrested a man who masturbated on the streets of Banyuwangi, East Java. The video of the man with the initials ES (40) was viral on social media.

Banyuwangi Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Mustijat Priyambodo, said that ES was arrested on Wednesday, October 20 at his home. This arrest was based on an investigation after a viral video of the perpetrator masturbating on the street.

"After we investigated, we finally found out who the characters in the video were. The perpetrators included evidence, namely a motorcycle and the clothes he was wearing. Then we took them into custody," Mustijat said, Friday, October 22.

The perpetrator in the examination admitted that he was aware of masturbating on the road while riding a motorcycle.

"The motive in question is not getting sexual needs from his wife for two days. So he did the act consciously," said Mustijat.

The police have checked the condition of the perpetrator to a psychiatrist. The perpetrator was charged with Article 36 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography.

"The psychological results are still not out yet," said Mustijat.
