Exhibitionist Action At Sudirman In Menteng Police Investigation

JAKARTA – A video of sexual harassment circulating on the TikTok application. In the video that is being widely discussed, a man can be seen performing an exhibitionist action against a female pedestrian near Sudirman station, Central Jakarta.

It is known, the action took place on October 15 last at around 19:00 WIB.

"So some time ago I met an exhibitionist on the road from my office to Sudirman Station," the victim said in the video.

The video comes from CCTV footage, it looks like the sidewalk is empty of pedestrians. The perpetrator was caught on camera waiting at the corner of the street. As soon as the victim passed, the perpetrator immediately took off his pants and showed his genitals.

The victim immediately ran towards the station.

"He took off his pants and grabbed his genitals. I cried, I ran, I screamed," said the victim.

After the victim ran away, the perpetrator also immediately fled in the opposite direction.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Menteng Police, AKP Paksi Eka Saputra, admitted that his party was aware of the incident. Although the victim has not made a report, the police still intervened to carry out an investigation.

"Until now, there has been no report. However, the team in the field immediately followed up on the incident," said Kanit to reporters, Friday, October 22.

Eka said that currently the investigation process is still ongoing. The suspect is now in police pursuit.

According to Sehatq.com, exhibitionism is a condition in which a person has the urge, fantasy and action to show his genitals to strangers.
