The seven provinces are West Java, Central Java, East Java, Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, Papua, and West Papua. Each province has five priority districts for solving extreme poverty. During his visit, the Vice President said his party had coordinated intensively with the relevant provincial and district governments. The policy in the context of solving extreme poverty, said the Vice President, must be intact and inseparable from a sectoral perspective so that the target of zero percent extreme poverty can be achieved. For information, the extreme poverty rate nationally in Indonesia reaches 10.86 million and this number is targeted to be zero percent in 2024. Meanwhile, until the end of 2021, the Government targets to complete 2,096,771 extreme poor people in 35 priority districts. .
