NTB Governor Clarifies Viral Khairurrazak Alhafizi Called To Participate In The Tahfiz Al-Quran Olympiad: Khairurrazak Is Participating In STQ In North Maluku

JAKARTA - The Governor of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Zulkieflimansyah, clarified the viral Khairurrazak Alhafizi who was said to have left for Mecca to take part in the Tahfiz Koran Olympics. Zulkieflimansyah emphasized that the teenager was participating in STQ in North Maluku, not the world-class Olympics.

“This is viral everywhere and there are so many people asking me for clarification from all over Indonesia. Khairurrazak Alhafizi is the NTB contingent currently participating in the National STQ in North Maluku. Ananda Khairurrazak is not participating in the world championship as stated by the status below (screenshot post, ed)", said Zulkieflimansyah on his Instagram account, Thursday, October 21.

According to Zulkieflimansyah, the NTB contingent was officially released by the Regional Government, accompanied by the Regional Government with the leadership of Assistant 1 in North Maluku.

"At this time and Alhamdulillah we are now in the final", said Zulkieflimansyah.

Zulkieflimansyah's clarification refers to the post of an account named Naila Ali Bachmid. Screenshots of his posts on social media were widely shared.
