Reasons Families Don't Believe Metro TV Editors Are Suicide

JAKARTA - Suwandi, the father of Metro TV editor Yodi Prabowo, still does not believe the police finding that his son died of suicide. He admitted that he was still awkward with that conclusion.

Because, until now the family has not been shown direct evidence. It is on this basis that he still doesn't believe it.

"No, no. Until now I have not been shown anything (evidence, red), only verbally," said Suwandi to VOI, Monday, July 27.

By never having seen this evidence, suspicion about the motive for suicide was only used as an alternative for the police to immediately resolve the case. Moreover, from the information received, the clothes and jacket that Yodi wore had no blood stains.

Apart from that, he said, it seemed as if the police had forced the motive to kill himself because of the lack of evidence to reveal the case.

"From there the police lacked evidence and were directed to commit suicide. The police should have described the incident, why was the blood clean on the shirt but he did not describe it and did not take it there," said Suwandi.

In fact, the explanation given by the police was only about knives, feelings of depression and drugs. However, he did not mention how Yodi ended his life.

"It was not explained at the scene when he (Yodi) stood up when he committed suicide, it was not told," he concluded.

Yodi was found dead on Friday, July 10 on the side of the JORR Toll Road, Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. Yodi was found dead by suicide after three days of missing. The witness found Yodi's body wearing a green jacket, black pants, black sling bag, wearing shoes and still wearing a helmet.

From the results of the examination, Yodi died from stab wounds to his chest and neck. The Polda Metro Jaya forensic laboratory has examined the fingerprints and DNA on a knife found around Yodi's body. From the results of the examination, it was found that only the victim's fingerprints and DNA were found on the knife.
