Grab Online Driver Still Under Investigation Regarding Finding Woman Dead On Toll Road To Soetta Airport

JAKARTA - A woman named Linda (44) was found dead and suspected of being a victim of a hit-and-run on the Jakarta - Sudiatmo Toll Road KM 28 towards Soekarno Hatta Airport, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Until now, the case is still being handled by the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya.

The Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Argo Wiyono said, the victim had been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital and contacted by his family.

The victim was identified as a pedestrian and wanted to cross from the edge of the toll road. The victim died on the spot.

"So according to the time of the incident (E-Tle) at the toll gate closest to the location, there was a car that had a damaged front bumper. Then he was visited at his home address in the Cilincing area, then an online driver was secured," he told reporters, Sunday, October 17.

So far, the suspect has not been identified as a suspect and is still undergoing investigation.

"So the alleged perpetrator has the initials FS, he is an online grab driver," he said.

FS is undergoing an examination at the Penjaringan Police regarding an accident that killed a resident.

"So when it was first discovered, it was suspected that the victim was afraid of murder. So that at the first time, there were officers from traffic. But because it was still an allegation, the handling was carried out by a joint team," he said.

The cause of death of the victim is still being investigated.

"Later, if it is proven that the victim was a victim of an accident, then it will be handed over to us. So now the investigation is still being carried out by the Crime Investigation Unit," he said.
