Aceh Singkil Refinery Bridge Rp42.9 Billion Allegedly Corruption, Prosecutor's Office Asked To Completely Investigate

BANDA ACEH - Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives Nazaruddin Dek Gam urged the Aceh High Court to thoroughly investigate allegations of corruption in the construction project of the Refinery Bridge in Aceh Singkil Regency with a contract value of Rp42.9 billion.

"I ask the Aceh High Court to immediately complete the investigation into the alleged corruption in the construction of the refinery bridge in Aceh Singkil so that its legal status becomes clear," said Nazaruddin Dek Gam in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara, Friday, October 15.

Nazaruddin Dek Gam said that PT Sumber Cipta Yoenanda won the tender for the bridge construction project with a contract value of IDR 42.9 billion in the 2019 budget year.

The winning company has its address at Blangpidie, Southwest Aceh Regency. The investigation into the project was based on an inquiry warrant from the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office dated January 19, 2021. Nazaruddin said that the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office had to be open, to what extent was the handling of the alleged corruption case. Moreover, the case has already received public attention.

"Do not hang the handling. The information I received, a number of parties have been summoned. However, until now I do not know how far the case has progressed," said Nazaruddin Dek Gam.

In addition, Nazaruddin Dek Gam asked the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office Muhammad Yusuf to immediately identify the suspect if the evidence in the case was sufficient.

"I think there is enough evidence in this case. I am still monitoring this case. Moreover, a number of NGOs have submitted a number of reports to me about this case," said Nazaruddin Dek Gam.

Nazaruddin Dek Gam also appreciated the work of the Head of the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office, Muhammad Yusuf. Moreover, a number of cases handled by the prosecutor's office in Aceh have gone up to the investigation stage.

"Solve the alleged corruption case of the Refinery Bridge project. The evidence found in this case is also with me, I just need to convey it to the Attorney General at the Commission III working meeting later," said Nazaruddin Dek Gam.
