Victims Trapped In House Collapse Due To Excavator Falls In Depok, Rescued By Jakarta And Depok Rescue Teams

DEPOK - The Jakarta Search and Rescue Office (Kansar) Rescue Team was dispatched to help evacuate residents to the location where the excavator fell on Jalan Mawar, Pancoran Mas District, Depok City, West Java.

The team evacuated JPF (14) who was trapped in the rubble of a building due to the fall of an excavator on Jalan Mawar, Pancoran Mas District. JPF victims who had been squeezed between the rubble of residential buildings were finally able to be rescued.

"We received information from the Pancoran Mas Police. Then we dispatched rescue personnel to the scene," said Head of the Jakarta Search and Rescue (Kansar) Office or SAR Mission Coordinator Hendra Sudirman to VOI, Friday, October 15.

Hendra emphasized that joint SAR personnel who arrived in the field immediately evacuated victims from the crush of the rubble. The Rescue Team evacuated with the Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) method using extrusion SAR equipment.

"The victim was successfully evacuated at around 14:35 WIB in good condition. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment at Mitra Keluarga Hospital, Depok City," he said.

This evacuation process involved a joint SAR consisting of the Jakarta Search and Rescue Office, Pancoran Mas Police, Pancoran Mas Koramil, Depok City Fire Department, Depok City PMI, Depok City Tagana, Depok City Satpol PP and other volunteers.
