At the time of the incident, continued Asril, both of them were working at the soto shop when the fire hit. The fire was reported to have occurred at 11.55 am. At around 12.25 WIB, the fire was successfully extinguished and just waiting for the cooling process.

"The fire first emerged from the middle room of the second floor of the house, then spread to the soto shop at the bottom of the house," he said.

The two victims were evacuated to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.
