JAKARTA - The Bogor City COVID-19 Task Force brings good news. On Tuesday, October 12 yesterday, the Task Force reported no new positive cases of COVID-19 or zero cases.

"This Tuesday, there are zero additional COVID-19 cases in Bogor City," said Head of the Bogor City Health Service (Kadinkes), Sri Nowo Retno, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, October 13.

The good news doesn't stop there. There are seven confirmed patients who have recovered, so the cumulative number of additional confirmed patients recovered is 36,941 people.

The cases of COVID-19 patients who died also did not increase. Thus, there are still 523 patients who died and 97 probable deaths.

For suspect cases that were monitored on the same day by the COVID-19 Task Force, there were 16 people and 38 close contacts who were monitored.

Meanwhile, there are 48 positive patients who are still sick, bringing the total number of patients exposed to COVID-19 to 37,512 people.

Retno said that the achievement of reducing the number of cases to zero could not be ascertained, making Bogor City included in PPKM Level 2.

This is because the determination of the level according to the Ministry of Home Affairs Number 43 of 2021, in addition to the decrease in cases, is added with indicators of agglomeration vaccination achievements in districts/cities.

"So if Bogor Regency has not vaccinated 50 percent, it will still be at level 3," he said.

He appealed to the public to remain disciplined in health protocols (prokes) by implementing the 5M program, namely washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and limiting mobility.

"The community continues to apply the prokes, don't be careless so that the COVID-19 case in the city of Bogor continues to decline and let's follow the vaccination program," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Public Health Division (Head) of the Bogor City Health Office, Siti Robiah Mubarokah, added that according to PCR examination data from NAR or New All Records in laboratories, hospitals and clinics, there were 228 PCR tests.

"There are already results of 139 PCR tests (137 negative, 2 positive for domicile outside Bogor City)," he said.

Then, he said, there were 24 examinations through antigen, 10 PCR tests for pregnant women at the Pajajaran GOR and 24 PCR examinations at the Puskesmas, bringing a total of 58 tests.

So that when combined, there are 318 examinations in all PCR sites.

"For antigens carried out by the puskesmas, data can be taken from NAR. Data from NAR, which is domiciled in Bogor City, October 12, for antigen examination, all negative results," said Robiah.
