For The Sake Of Cellphones, The Driver Of Angkot 06 Hits The Passenger's Head Using A Wheel Lock, The Victim Is Still A Minor

JAKARTA - The Kalideres Police are still investigating reports of residents related to the mobile phone robbery incident that happened to a minor with the initials DY in the CBC area, Tegal Alur, West Jakarta.

When an investigation was carried out, it turned out that the confiscation incident was related to the overthrow of the public transportation 06 majoring in Kota-Kamal.

"On Sunday night there was an incident when a woman fell in the CBC area, Tegal Alur," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kalideres Police AKP Haris Sanjaya, Wednesday, October 13, morning.

Based on eyewitness information, the victim, known to have the initials DY (17) was abused by an angkot driver.

"The victim suffered serious injuries to the head and lacerations to the arm. This case is a criminal act of theft with violence. The victim, who was helped by residents, was immediately rushed to the hospital," he said.

From DY's confession to police officers, he admitted to being a victim of the seizure of cellphones and mistreatment by an angkot driver. During the incident, DY was hit by the perpetrator using a wheel lock so that DY was torn and found a number of stitches.

DY managed to survive because he tried to escape by jumping from the public transportation he was traveling in. Then the angkot driver fled into the toll road.

Until now, the Kalideres Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still conducting the crime scene (TKP) to find out the connection between the series of street crimes that occurred.

The Kalideres Police Chief AKP Hasoloan Situmorang said that the crime scene was carried out by the Kalideres Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the West Jakarta Metro Police Jatanras team in order to uncover the crimes committed by the perpetrators.

"It is true that our members are still investigating the case. The investigation began with the finding of an overturned angkot near the Kapuk toll gate," he said when contacted separately, Wednesday, October 13, morning.

From the results of the search, the investigative team found evidence of a cellphone and a pair of sandals that were recently worn. The finding of the cellphone was apparently related to reports of an angkot passenger who had been robbed by an angkot driver.

"We found the victim's cellphone and the sandals used by the perpetrator. We formed a joint team of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kalideres Police and Jatanras Polres to pursue the perpetrator. The identity of the perpetrator is known to the police," he said.
